FLOHAUS Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for an online exhibition and viewing room on Artsy in recognition of AAPI Heritage Month.

This exhibition brings together artistic practices that reflect on cultural presence as something lived, layered, and continuously shifting. Rather than approaching identity as a fixed category, the exhibition considers how it is shaped through movement, translation, memory, and everyday experience.

Developed in response to the contributions, histories, and cultural landscapes of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities, the project focuses on how these experiences unfold across different contexts, between places, across languages, and within personal and collective narratives.

We are interested in works that engage with these conditions through material, form, or subtle references whether rooted in cultural memory, daily life, or evolving modes of belonging.

Submissions may include (but are not limited to):

painting, sculpture, textile, installation, design objects, photography, and interdisciplinary practices.

Ehxibition Format:

Selected works will be presented in an online exhibition and viewing room on Artsy , alongside promotioo across FLOHAUS Gallery’s network. The exhibition aims to expand artists’ international visibility and connect their work with a global audience and collector base, supporting both exposure and potential sales opportunities.

Eligibility:

Open to artists of all backgrounds. Artists connected to AAPI narratives are especially  encouraged to apply.

Exhibition Date: May 1 - May 31, 2026

Submission Fee: $15 USD

Selected artists will be considered for future physical exhibitions and collaborations with FLOHAUS Gallery. We look forward to presenting diverse and nuanced perspectives shaped through lived experience.
