A Garden for Devotion
May 20–29, 2026
Opening Reception: May 20, 6–8 PM
A Garden for Devotion brings together artists working across sculpture, painting, objects, and installation to explore vitality as a force sustained through transformation, tension, care, and ongoing transformation.
Featuring works by Kate Cusack, Johnny Illescas, Noreen Joa, Nikolai Keller, Yian Lee, Devishi Seth, Elena Syromiatnikova, Alice Tedesco, Reynaldo Studio by Reynaldo Veliz, Ekaterina Vygolova, Sarah Walko, and ban:ban.
Across different materials and approaches, many of the works carry a strong sense of growth, adaptation, and organic becoming. Bodily references, fragmented structures, interactive gestures, and objects shaped for use and touch move between the intimate and the political, the domestic and the symbolic. Some works reflect on systems of conflict, displacement, memory, and cultural inheritance; others remain grounded in everyday rituals, tactile experience, material play, and the emotional textures of daily life.
The exhibition approaches [devotion] as an ongoing process of shaping the worlds we inhabit, unfolding through a collection of artistic practices rooted in the continual negotiation between the self and its surrounding environment.
